Slackware Live: a live CD/DVD/USB solution for Slackware
Slackware Live is a live CD/DVD/USB build and install tool written for Slackware (& Slackware64) Linux:
- contains all the necessary to convert an installed system to a live system and vice-versa;
- ability to build a system from packages;
- it doesn’t need any kernel recompile, but it support seamlessly AUFS if your kernel support them;
- no changes are needed on the system to make live; the live system boots like an installed one
- support multiple SquashFS modules;
- can run in RAM;
- can be booted from network (live over NFS);
- support for home directory on USB boot media (directory or file) or over NFS;
- support persistent system changes on USB boot media (directory or file) or over NFS;
- auto-detects partitions.
Two companion tools are also available:

Important note
Although this project is intended to Slackware Linux and tries to follow its principles of simplicity and robustness, Slackware-Live is independent: its flaws or any problem that may arise using it are not attributable to Slackware Linux.
My other projects
- Sallu: a collection of lightweight Linux utilities
- SimpleBurn: a CD/DVD burning and extraction tool
